Cina is a founder of Soul Ride, passionate mountain biker and a mother of two awesome kids. She grew up in the San Gabriel Mountains in Southern California where she began racing skis and snowboards at a young age. Cina had the joy of living in South Lake Tahoe, Hawaii and San Diego before moving to Prescott where she was introduced to the sport of mountain biking and naturally fell in love. Comfortable with downhill speed and able to pick a great fall line, mountain biking was the next best thing to shredding the slopes. She is also an IMBA level 1 ICP, and is certified in CPR and First AID as well as, a level 3 NICA coach. As a licensed NCBT for over fifteen years, Cina has an in depth understanding of human anatomy and body mechanics. Her expertise in body work will help you align your body with your bike for optimal flow. Cina’s love for the outdoors and enthusiasm for mountain biking will get you excited for the journey on and off your bike.
Kate is a founder of Soul Ride, an avid mountain biker, committed mother and Masters level wellness counselor with over a decade plus of experience focusing on women’s health and human development. She is a certified IMBA level 1 instructor, a level 3 NICA coach, and is certified in CPR and First AID. Kate has great experience helping youth athletes gain confidence, skill as well as, develop a life long passion for mountain biking, she is the head coach of the largest Middle School Composite MTB team in the state of Arizona. Additionally, she has years of experience as skills coach, specializing in supporting new riders as they take on the sport of Mountain Biking . Her deepest passion is to watch people laugh, grow and expand while experiencing the joys of mountain biking. Kate takes pleasure in helping riders access their personal potential, increasing perseverance and overcoming mental obstacles on their bike. Kate has intimate knowledge of the local trails and wants to share her love of mountain biking with you. Her passion for health and wellbeing translates into the perfect guide for your soul ride adventure.
Zach Stanford, Shop Manager and Head Mechanic. Zach brings a passion for life and extensive knowledge of mountain bike mechanics to Soul Ride. After working on bikes part time for many years in the Midwest, Zach left his full time gigs in corporate accounting and middle school teaching in 2012 to working full time in the mountain bike industry. First at the Bike and Bean in Sedona, Arizona. During his time at the Bean, he deepened his knowledge of in-depth, elaborate bike repairs, and periodic maintenance. Zach has a long history of racing cross country, endurance, road, and cyclocross. He and his wife Sara moved to Prescott in 2007 from Illinois and just returned after 6 years in Sedona. Zach and Sara are so excited to be a part of the Soul Ride family. Always genuine, Zach has the personality, enthusiasm and experience you are looking for in a master mechanic, he looks forward to helping you keep your bike running just the way you like it!
Lea is a coach and trail guide who holds an IMBA Level I and Level II certification. In addition, she is trained in first aid as well as CPR certified. She has participated and finished on the podium in multitudes of cycling endurance events across the southwest. Lea is passionate about the sport and shares this with everyone she meets. She is driven to help introduce new riders to the art of mountain biking as well as help those with more experience hone their skills. Always involved and engaged with the classes she teaches, it’s obvious from the smile on her face that the success of her students drives her coaching and results in increased confidence and abilities in all those who attend her clinics.
Amanda is Soul Ride’s director of community outreach. Amanda is a life long endurance athlete that has competed in Iron Man triathlons as well as, numerous races both on and off her mountain bike throughout the Western United States. In addition to being an accomplished athlete, Amanda has a passion for inspiring others to achieve their personal fitness goals. She has coached and encouraged numerous athletes as they follow their personal dream of becoming a mountain biker. She facilitates several community rides, such as our Wednesday women’s ride, in addition to her coaching responsibilities with the local Middle School mountain bike team. If you need encouragement and support as you develop as a mountain biker Amanda is your person.
Brent is Soul Ride’s Adventure Bike Tour, Trip Leader and Coordinator. A resident of Arizona since 1968 and of Prescott since 1987, Brent has lived a life filled with personal adventuring, planning and leading outdoor recreational travel around the west, and guiding enrichment education travel around the world. Brent began seriously cycling as a teenager, and switched from road bike racing to mountain biking sometime in the very early 80’s (hey, it was a long, long time ago, don’t ask him to remember dates!) After a career teaching at a local community college, he retired and has since filled his time with finishing raising his children, providing non-profit leadership (he is the current president of Prescott Mountain Bike Alliance a chapter of the International Mountain Bike Alliance,) other volunteer activities like trail construction and youth cycling programs, and riding often and far. Brent is excited to bring his talents for adventure travel planning and trip leadership to the Soul Ride team, and hopes to see you on a trip soon!
Soul Ride’s very own Yoga instructor Julie Munro makes retreats, yoga-tours and shop yoga nights something special. Julie has been living in and enjoying the Prescott area since 1981. She bought her first mountain bike in 1983 and had been riding and enjoying Prescott trails ever since. Julie is Adventure Education faculty at Prescott College and teaches both outdoor leadership courses and yoga. She has over 1000 hours of teacher training and yoga certifications, including a 500 hour teacher certification for the American Viniyoga Institute. She is also the founder of Satya Yoga, a yoga alliance, registered yoga school. Julie trains approximately 15 new teachers a year. She has also held a Wilderness First Responded certification since 1989. Julie’s favorite way to relax is to go mountain biking with her dog and enjoy quiet time in nature.
