Sally – “Well there I was…60 years old and hadn’t really ridden a bike since college but was hooked on mountain biking after the first ride. I needed to gain some skill and confidence pronto! Soulride with Kate and Cina was the answer to my prayers. They are great at “meeting you where you’re at”, providing great instruction on the fundamentals you need to stay safe, progress in your skills, and enjoy your ride. Always professional, they also are also supportive and listen to what your needs might be, from a beginner like me to someone wanting to race. They have a thorough knowledge of the trails in the area, provide workshops in bike maintenance and give back to the community with service projects I am so glad that they got me off on the right foot and now am loving mountain biking. I look forward to gaining more skill via these ladies’ instruction in the future!“
Sylvia – “Soul Ride is a rare and unique gem in our Prescott Mountain Biking community!, Cina and Kate, co-founders of Soul Ride, provide exceptional service and instruction.During my private lesson, I had the good fortune to have both ladies as my guides. Their teaching style was clear, concise and relevant to my biking level. Not only do they teach from the IMBA model, but from their personal experience. The functional analogies they used during our session gave me a deeper understanding of why certain biking techniques are encouraged. After the lesson, they provided me an email summary of the areas I can focus on to improve my skill and fun-awesome learning tool! Above all, Cina and Kate left me smiling, and loving being on my bike! –S. Garcia, Owner Garcia Physical Therapy, LLC”
Gita- ” If you are thinking about taking a mountain bike clinic with the ladies at Soul Ride… I say YES!!! I was that person who made falling off a bike look like it was my job! In fact, I was so nervous before the clinic, that I almost called and canceled. Boy am I happy that I didn’t! I learned not only proper body positioning and braking, but also how to relax enough to have fun on a bike… not to mention staying upright, mostly ha ha. Cina and Kate make such a great team, playing off of each other’s strengths. They made me feel at ease, made me laugh, and all around have a fantastic time. All the while learning key body mechanics to enhance my riding skills ten fold. Even if you aren’t a beginner like I am, but just want to hone your skills, I say do it. Cina and Kate are extremely knowledgeable, competent and well versed in all aspects of mountain biking. Go get your Soul Ride on!”
